Considering your interests, i must concur with the previous comment and recommend Michel Henry's writings on Kandinsky. I'm very happy to discover that a translation of Voir l'invisible is to be published (Seeing the Invisible, Continuum, June 2009), but in the meantime you may like to read translation of two shorter papers by Henry that deal with Kandinsky:
Kandinsky and the Meaning of the Work of Art
http://pensum.wordpress.com/2008/10/24/kandinsky-and-the-meaning-of-the-work-of-art-by-michel-henry/
and
Art and Phenomenology
http://pensum.wordpress.com/2008/10/01/michel-henry-art-and-the-phenomenology-of-life-complete/

Henry was a close friend of Jean-Luc Marion's and, if you aren't already familiar with it, I am sure you would also find his book I am the Truth of interest as well.

for a really good philosophical reading of Kandinsky check out Michel Henry's Voir l’invisible, sur Kandinsky (1988) which is being translated right now and should be out with continuum sometime next year.
