<description>I saw your testimony on EWTN and was impressed with how you carried yourself. Do you believe that other church traditions are acceptable to God? Jesus&#039; command was to &quot;go and make disciples of all nations&quot; and that the Gospel was not only for the Jew but for gentiles as well. &quot;Upon this rock I will build my church&quot; of believers. Why is it that the Catholic Catechism has omitted the 2nd Commandment, and split the 10th commandment into 2 separate ones? The 2nd commandment concerns making &quot;graven images&quot; and the one against idol worship. I am not trying to challenge the Catholic church, but questioning whether the Church should re-write, it seems, God&#039;s 10 commandments. How do you justify this in your mind?

Can you explain to me the church&#039;s explanation of Purgatory??? Have wondered about this because the Bible states &quot;that a person dies once, then the judgement&quot;?

A personal note: I, too, am a Texas (living in the Central Texas area). I have been curious about Catholicism, but grew up in the Presbyterian church. Am a single adult and looking for solid Christian fellowship with intelligent women like you. If you are ever in Central Texas, would like to attend one of your talks and meet you in person. I have a Ph.D. in education with an emphasis in the biological sciences.

Best,
